Campaign and Event Management
Lansdale Group’s Campaign and Event Management solution for Account Engagement leverages standard Salesforce Campaigns to represent email campaigns as required by MCAE Connected Campaigns as well as the basis for managing events, a common use case for Salesforce Campaigns. Key to the scalability and productivity enhancements enabled by Campaign and Event management is dynamic content for standard MCAE email templates based on Campaign merge fields. Utilizing generic campaign email templates, campaign specific content can be merged into emails including campaign specific images and event details like location, date and time.
For events, Lansdale Group’s Campaign and Event management solution also allows embedding of a sign up link within the event invitation that automatically creates corresponding Campaign Members. Once a campaign member has been added, automated confirmation, reminder, and thank you emails render campaign/event specific dynamic content based on merge fields from the campaign record.
Tour Management
Lansdale Group’s Tour Management solution uses dynamic content based on standard MCAE email templates and the standard Salesforce Event activity. When a user schedules an Event of type Tour, an MCAE confirmation email with the date and time of the Salesforce Event activity record (Tour activity), directions to the community, and other content specific to the Event owner such as their MCAE signature from the owner of the Event. Based on configurable meta data, a reminder email is sent a day or so prior to the scheduled date. Finally, once the Event is marked complete in Salesforce, a thank you email, perhaps containing a link to a post tour survey is automatically generated and sent. Lansdale Group’s Tour Management solution gives sales people peace of mind that prospects will receive confirmations, reminders, and thank yous ensuring fewer no shows and reinforcing a culture of professionalism and service.
Account Engagement List Emails from Salesforce
Lansdale Group’s Account Engagement List Emails from Salesforce solution allows individual sales people to send MCAE list emails directly from Salesforce using marketing provided lists and email templates. Based on configurable meta data, end users may select an MCAE list such as ‘Active Prospects for Community X’ configured for their individual use and/or an affinity group (e.g. a specific senior living community). Lansdale Group’s Account Engagement List Emails from Salesforce works seamlessly from within the standard Salesforce interface from a Salesforce Campaign record, presenting the user with a simple three step process of selecting a list from a small picklist of curated lists available to the user, selecting an email template from a picklist, and finally, optionally editing the email template before sending. While the user interface runs completely within Salesforce, the list email is sent from MCAE and tracked on the corresponding campaign just as any MCAE list email.
Cross Business Unit One-to-One Emails
Some Lansdale Group clients utilize shared resources that work across Account Engagement Business Units. However, working across business units with Engage requires the user to select the business unit before sending one-to-one emails. Lansdale Group’s Cross Business Unit One-to-One Emails is specifically designed to address this ‘edge’ use case to enable shared resources to send MCAE one-to-one emails without selecting a business unit. Behind the scenes, our solution uses the business unit designation of a given Salesforce contact and a cross reference to the corresponding MCAE business unit Id in a connect to the correct business unit via the MCAE API to pull a selected MCAE email template, allow edit of the template, and finally send an MCAE email via that business unit. While working across business units in MCAE Engage is not common among our customers, for those that do, this solution is absolutely critical.
Flow Based Triggered Account Engagement Emails
Lansdale Group’s Account Engagement Email Send Utility for Salesforce allows Salesforce administrators to create automations via Salesforce Flows that send emails via MCAE based on various triggers. For example, notifications of availability of an available apartment for a prospect on a waitlist for that apartment type could be sent automatically through MCAE along with a link to access an apartment viewing portal based on Salesforce Experience Cloud. The sky’s the limit for the multitude of potential MCAE triggered emails from within Salesforce.
